Ray Lum

Ray Lum’s fascination for the art of magic began at the age of eight, after watching the legendary Lee Grabel (picture on right) at a local school. He was hooked by the time he was twelve. Ray first started performing at birthday parties and by the age of seventeen, he started performing larger functions.

With these methods, new and improved illusions surfaced into the magic world. Working with major corporations and needing to meet their specific needs, Ray had to create custom illusions. Other performers have taken notice of his creativity and sought his wisdom to enhance their shows.

Ray’s creative ideas can be seen in shows from cruise ships to Las Vegas showrooms. Not only can you find him working with the corporate world of the Silicon Valley, he also made his presence known in the International scene. 

Working with top professionals around the world brought Ray into the international circuit. He has performed in the United States, Canada, Japan and the People’s Republic of China.

Ray Lum, an extremely polished performer, not only uses audience participation to bring the magic to the people, but to let them be the star. His philosophy is to make the magical experience personal where people leave the show saying, “Magic was never like this!”
